To support the Compliance Manager with the implementation and management of an effective compliance and controls system.
The Job
Assist in creating awareness of corporate compliance polices including Code of conduct to employees and other stakeholders.
Assist in administering compliance software and effect updates.
Assist in conducting compliance risk assessment as input to audit plan.
Follow up with HR Managers and obtain updates on the extent of employees undertaking attestation of compliance with the code.
Monitor compliance database to ensure compliance with captured compliances.
Follow up with compliance champions on the level of compliance with regulatory requirements and obtain information on new laws/amendment of existing laws.
Conduct audit of corporate policies and procedures for compliance.
Carry out periodic audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory obligations.
Qualifications
B.Sc. / HND in Economics or Finance, Law, or related discipline.
Professional Qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
The Person Must:
Have excellent interpersonal, Leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other compliance management tools.
Posses a strong organizational and follow-up skills.
