Job Summary




  • We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Fertility Counselor to provide emotional and psychological support to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in reproductive health, mental health counseling, and guiding patients through the challenges associated with infertility and assisted reproductive technologies (ART).



Key Responsibilities




  • Provide individual and couples counseling to those experiencing fertility-related stress and emotional distress.

  • Offer support in decision-making related to fertility treatments, including IVF, egg/sperm donation, surrogacy, and adoption.

  • Conduct psychological assessments for patients undergoing third-party reproduction (e.g., egg/sperm donors and surrogates).

  • Educate patients on coping strategies, stress management, and emotional well-being throughout their fertility journey.

  • Work collaboratively with medical professionals, embryologists, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

  • Facilitate support groups and educational workshops for individuals and couples facing fertility challenges.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

  • Stay updated on best practices, new treatments, and research in reproductive psychology and infertility counseling.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field

  • Certification in fertility counselling (preferred) or experience working with patients undergoing fertility treatments.

  • Strong knowledge of reproductive medicine, ART, and the emotional impact of infertility.

  • Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and cultural competence.

  • Experience facilitating support groups and counselling sessions.

  • Proficiency in maintaining confidential patient documentation.
