Position Overview
- This is a dual-role leadership position that combines operational oversight with business development.
- The successful candidate will supervise the entire chauffeur team and fleet operations while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, client accounts, and partnerships to grow the company’s market share.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Fleet Management:
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of the chauffeur team.
- Ensure all drivers maintain the highest standards of grooming, punctuality, professionalism, and customer service.
- Manage vehicle scheduling, dispatching, and trip planning to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, licensing, insurance, and inspection schedules to ensure fleet readiness at all times.
- Monitor and improve fleet efficiency, fuel usage, and operational costs.
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for fleet usage, accidents, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
- Enforce all transport safety regulations, laws, and internal policies.
Business Development & Client Relations:
- Identify new business leads and market opportunities within corporate, hospitality, diplomatic, and private sectors.
- Develop proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, hotels, and event planners.
- Attend meetings, networking events, or industry expos to promote the company’s services.
- Collaborate with marketing and management teams to execute promotional campaigns and build brand visibility.
- Track client feedback and satisfaction to refine service delivery and grow client retention.
Strategic Planning & Team Coordination:
- Forecast vehicle and manpower needs based on growth projections.
- Contribute to company strategy with insights from client feedback, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new drivers.
- Generate regular reports for management on operations, KPIs, and sales leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field.
- 4– 5years experience in Car leasing or Rental organizations, transport logistics, or chauffeur servicing organizations.
- Proven experience in business development or client relationship management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientation.
- Proficient in MS Office
- fleet management software is added advantage
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
