Job Summary

• The Junior Facility Officer is responsible for the effective functioning of the facility, provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services, and processes to meet the needs of the company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly


• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders


• Delegating maintenance tasks to team members thereby fostering a professional working environment.


• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed


• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals


• Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards


• Drafting reports and making written recommendations


• Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and team


• Maintain stock levels and parts within budget.

Educational Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Engineering field


• Minimum of 2 years experience in facility management/Administrative duties

As the Junior Facility Officer, you'll need to show:

• Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management


• Must be a well organized, detailed and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter with good project management skills


• Multitasking ability


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Good time management.
