Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, Crop Science, Farm Management, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience managing a commercial farm (crop, livestock, or mixed farming).


• Proven knowledge of modern agricultural practices, machinery, irrigation systems, pest control, and crop/livestock rotation systems.


• Strong understanding of farm budgeting, record keeping, and cost control.


• Experience in personnel management, including supervision of farm workers and contractors.


• Ability to monitor and improve farm productivity and recommend appropriate agricultural interventions.


• Familiarity with agronomic tools, GPS systems, and basic farm tech is an added advantage.


• Strong communication and organizational skills.


• Must be willing to reside in or near Shagamu or work on-site daily.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of agricultural regulations and environmental compliance.


• Experience with farm-to-market strategies or agro-processing.


• Strong leadership qualities and decision-making ability under pressure.
