- Create and upload copy and images for the organization’s website
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software including but not limited to Photoshop to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meets marketing goals.
- Write and dispatch email marketing campaigns
- Obtain input from the team, ensure designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations and express ideas accurately.
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload.
- Examine existing processes, identify flaws and create solutions to improve design capabilities.
- Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the team for a wide range of materials that may include web banners, web visuals, marketing collateral, internal communication designs, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within the company's established brand identity.
- Develop concepts and execute original content determining ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system.
- Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business and market to design and execute specific classifications.
- Conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting
- Contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns
- Use web analytics software to monitor the website performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to company and industry blogs and manage e-communications
- Develop and integrate content marketing strategies
- Provide accurate reports and analysis to clients and company management to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI)
- Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
- Research consumer opinions and marketing strategies and propose adjustments to current strategies accordingly.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related discipline to functional role.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
As the Digital Marketing Officer, you'll need to show:
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools
- Practical experience with Adobe Photoshop, content creation, mailchimp, google analytics, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to research and adapt to content creation trends.
- Ability to quickly learn and process information.
