Job Summary

• Our client in the Oil and Gas industry is seeking to hire a Subsurface Manager.


• This leadership role is responsible for driving the strategic direction of all subsurface activities, ensuring seamless integration of geoscience, reservoir engineering, and development planning to support asset performance and business growth.


• The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a sharp focus on optimizing production and reserves.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across exploration, development, and production phases.


• Direct end-to-end subsurface evaluations that inform drilling, completions, and field development plans.


• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to mature reserves and optimize recovery.


• Lead annual forecasting and support asset planning cycles with data-driven insights.


• Guide internal and partner teams on technical decisions that impact performance and cost.


• Champion best practices in compliance, HSE, and data governance.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in petroleum engineering, or related discipline


• Minimum of Twenty(20) years’ experience as a Subsurface expert ·


• Good understanding of geology and geophysics, expert level experience petroleum/reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, gas reservoir and production engineering, petrophysics and drilling.
