About the Role

• We are a fast-growing lending and investment firm based in Abuja, seeking a reliable and results-driven Manager to lead its lending operations.


• The successful candidate should possess deep experience in loan origination, credit assessment, and client relationship management. This role involves hands-on field engagement and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Origination & Client Engagement:

• Source and engage qualified borrowers from approved markets.


• Develop a robust network of referral agents and community partners.


• Conduct pre-qualification assessments and assist applicants through the loan process.


• Verify documentation in line with KYC and internal credit policy.


• Maintain accurate loan records and coordinate disbursements.

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as clients’ primary point of contact throughout the loan lifecycle.


• Provide timely updates and support and foster responsible borrowing behavior. Repayment Monitoring & Recovery


• Monitor repayment schedules, send reminders, and follow up on late payments.


• Initiate basic recovery steps and escalate problematic accounts where necessary. Reporting & Administration


• Keep detailed records of all loan transactions and activities.


• Submit regular portfolio performance reports.


• Recommend improvements to processes and client service.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 7–10 years in lending, credit, microfinance, or agency banking


• Strong grasp of loan documentation, risk analysis, and recovery processes.


• Field-based experience and SME-focused lending background.


• Skilled in loan structuring and financial analysis.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
