We are seeking a detail-oriented, stylish, and customer-focused Pawning & Evaluation Specialist with a keen eye for luxury products especially watches and designer fashion.
The ideal candidate will have a background in luxury retail and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
You will be responsible for evaluating luxury items, advising clients, and ensuring seamless pawning transactions with the utmost discretion and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and authenticate luxury items such as watches, handbags, fashion pieces, and other valuables for pawning or resale.
Conduct in-person assessments of items brought by clients, considering market value, brand, condition, and authenticity.
Offer fair and informed pawn valuations based on current resale market and internal guidelines.
Educate and assist clients through the pawning process with professionalism, empathy, and transparency.
Maintain accurate records of transactions, valuations, and client interactions.
Collaborate with the finance and customer experience teams to ensure timely disbursements and follow-ups.
Maintain awareness of luxury market trends and pricing.
Uphold the brand image and ensure the store space reflects our values of class, luxury, and discretion.
Requirements
Gender: Female
Must reside in Lagos, Nigeria
Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 6 years work experience.
Proven experience in luxury retail, preferably with high-end watch brands or fashion labels (e.g., Rolex, Omega, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc.)
Strong product knowledge and experience handling luxury items
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify counterfeit or altered goods
Professional appearance and polished demeanor
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment
Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in a pawning or financial services environment is an added advantage
Familiarity with pricing tools, appraisal techniques, or authentication procedures
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
