Job Summary




  • The Employee Services Supervisor will manage all employee-related support services in a retail pharmacy setting, ensuring efficient HR operations across multiple pharmacy locations.

  • This includes supervising onboarding, documentation, benefits administration, welfare initiatives, and employee queries while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and internal policies.

  • The role also supports a healthy workplace culture among pharmacists, technicians, and front-end staff.



Responsibilities




  • Oversee onboarding and orientation processes for new pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and retail assistants.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll issues, and leave management.

  • Maintain up-to-date personnel files and ensure accurate entry of staff data in HR systems.

  • Monitor attendance, lateness, and leave trends; escalate discrepancies to HR or relevant line managers.

  • Ensure proper offboarding procedures are followed, including exit interviews and clearance documentation.

  • Coordinate the administration of employee benefits such as medical insurance, professional license reimbursements, and statutory contributions.

  • Support employee engagement and welfare programs tailored to the pharmacy environment.

  • Track professional licensing and certification compliance for pharmacists and technicians.

  • Supervise HR support staff across multiple pharmacy branches to ensure standard processes are followed.

  • Assist in resolving minor employee grievances or escalating issues to HR leadership when required.



Requirements





  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.




  • Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years in an HR support or employee services role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare-related business is preferred.
