Responsibilities

• The Java Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing new features and services, and maintaining existing ones, consistently delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance financial applications for our solutions.


• The ideal candidate should have deep experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and transaction processing systems.


• They should be able to work with minimal or no supervision, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and deliver on time.


• Additionally, they should have strong system design skills, technical task breakdown capabilities, and excellent time management.


• As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for building and optimizing real-time payment processing, merchant onboarding, banking workflows, and API integrations with financial institutions.


• You will collaborate closely with other software engineers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver cutting-edge digital financial services while ensuring best practices, company standards, and compliance with PCI-DSS and other banking regulations.

Qualification & Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in fintech or financial services


• Basic or solid experience working with ISO 8583.


• Experience integrating with payment gateways, banking, and fintech APIs.


• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.


• Experience working with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and MQTT.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in Java with experience in the Spring Boot framework. Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).


• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.


• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Analytical Skills: Ability to consistently deliver high-quality products with zero defects on the first attempt.


• Tools: Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
