Job Summary




  • We are looking for a Store Manager who will be responsible for managing, organizing and maintaining stock, receiving and dispatching goods, and keeping records of transactions.

  • You will ensure the smooth operation of the store/warehouse by controlling the flow of stocks and supplies.

  • Your key responsibilities include receiving, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety and security of inventory.



Responsibilities




  • Monitoring stock levels, rotating stock to prevent spoilage or obsolescence, and coordinating the disposal of surplus or expired items.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all stock transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.

  • Maintaining a safe and organized storage environment, implementing security measures to prevent theft or damage, and adhering to safety regulations.

  • Accepting deliveries, inspecting items for damage or discrepancies, and ensuring proper storage and organization of received goods.



Education / Experience




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.

  • 10-15 years of experience in retail management, sales supervision, or store operations.

  • Proficiency in ERP is an added advantage, including inventory/retail software and retail analytics tools.



Essential Skills:




  • Strong ability to track and manage stock levels effectively.

  • Meticulous in maintaining records, organising storage spaces, and ensuring accurate stock counts.

  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory or storage issues.

  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and other relevant software such as MS Word and Excel.
