The ideal candidate shall be responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously monitoring robust project control systems and managing contract compliance aspects for the PMT.
Responsibilities
Establishment, implementation, and continuous monitoring of robust project control systems
encompassing scheduling, cost control, and progress measurement.
Development and maintenance of a detailed integrated project schedule and work program, including
Identification of critical paths and baseline establishment.
Implementation and monitoring of project cost control systems, including budget adherence and initial expenditure tracking.
Support the Project Manager in the overall management of project contracts, including client contracts, ensuring initial compliance and setting up administration protocols.
Shall manage tender processes, including bid evaluations and contractor pre-qualification.
Shall oversee contract administration, including variations, claims, and payment certifications.
Continuous monitoring of project cost control systems, including expenditure tracking, forecasting, andvariance analysis against the budget.
Preparation and submission of regular, detailed project performance reports (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly) to the Client, providing clear insights into project status, progress, deviations, and proposed solutions.
Monitor contract compliance for all subcontract agreements and vendor agreements, supporting dispute resolution and change management processes.
Accurate measurement and verification of work progress across all engineering and construction activities, leading to the preparation and submission of progress invoices to the Client based on achieved milestones.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Project Management
Minimum 12 years in project controls, with 5 years in lead roles for EPC projects
At least 3 completed pipeline projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel mandatory)
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Knowledge of Nigerian Content Development requirements
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Experience working in Nigerian oil/gas sector preferred
PMP Certified (advantageous)
Certified Contract Manager (CCM) or equivalent (advantageous)
