Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with inventory records on our ERP system.


• Evaluate inventory management practices to ensure accurate tracking and minimize shrinkage across all our branches.


• Work with the branch managers to ensure accurate inventory controls in all our branches.


• Liaise with the warehouse / distribution center to ensure all inventory is moved according to company policies.


• Conduct thorough and objective internal audits of financial and operational activities.


• Assess compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


• Analyze data and prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations to management.


• Collaborate with various departments to understand processes and identify risks.


• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.


• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit methodologies.


• Support external auditors during annual audits and other reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Professional certification are an added advantage.


• Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience as an auditor, preferably in a Restaurant environment, is an added advantage.


• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.


• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Restaurant experience is key.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Candidates that stay in Lagos Island or close to Lagos Island will be considered.
