Responsibilties

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control standards and procedures in line with industry regulations and company policies.


• Ensure all food products comply with safety, nutritional, and labelling requirements.


• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production lines, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are consistently met.


• Verify that all outlets adhere to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


• Conduct routine checks on product preparation and handling processes to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.


• Oversee equipment and environmental sanitation processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.


• Ensure compliance with recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards across outlets.


• Perform regular on-site inspections of restaurant outlets to monitor adherence to quality and safety standards.


• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to meet regulatory and certification requirements.


• Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and follow up on corrective actions.


• Train staff on quality control protocols, food safety standards, and best practices for consistency and excellence.


• Organize workshops and refresher courses on regulatory updates, quality improvements, and operational efficiency.


• Identify and address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive measures.


• Collaborate with production staff, suppliers, and management to improve processes and product quality.


• Develop and execute strategies to minimize waste and optimize production efficiency without compromising quality.


• Maintain comprehensive records of quality checks, inspections, and audits.


• Prepare and present periodic quality control performance reports to management.


• Develop and update quality assurance manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality standards and delivery timelines.


• Monitor inventory for expired or non-compliant products and ensure timely removal.


• Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality raw materials.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 4 years of experience.
