Our Farms is a dynamic and growing mixed farming enterprise based in Yangarki Village. We specialize in the integrated production of livestock (ducks, guinea fowl, geese, noiler chickens, ostriches, goats, sheep, and cows) and crop farming (vegetables, cereals, and open-field crops), with future expansion into greenhouse production

We seek a highly experienced, hands-on Farm Supervisor to lead our day-to-day farm operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of livestock, poultry and crop management, team leadership skills, and a strong results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily feeding, watering, and health monitoring of all animals (poultry, ostriches, goats, sheep, cows), crop production, and farm labor.

  • Ensure animal health, proper feeding, disease control, and biosecurity for the entire farm

  • Manage land preparation, planting, irrigation, and harvesting schedules

  • Supervise farm workers and casual staff, assigning and monitoring tasks

  • Maintain accurate records for livestock, poultry, crops, inventory, and sales

  • Liaise with veterinary officers, buyers, suppliers, and stakeholders

  • Report regularly to farm leadership on performance and challenges

  • Implement proper breeding, vaccination, and disease control programs.

  • Monitor growth rates, egg production (for poultry), and milk production (for cows/goats).

  • Arrange for timely sales and market linkages for livestock products

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in a similar farm management role

  • Proficiency in managing poultry, ruminants, and basic crop production

  • Experience in labor management, farm machinery use, and cost tracking

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Willingness to live on-site or commute daily to Yangarki Village
