Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer with 3–4 years of proven experience in the construction sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction safety standards, a keen eye for identifying hazards, and the ability to enforce safety protocols on site. This role is critical to maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.



Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.


• Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and audits.


• Organize safety training and toolbox talks for workers.


• Investigate and report any incidents, near misses, or safety violations.


• Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.


• Maintain safety documentation and records in accordance with legal requirements.


• Collaborate with site managers and engineers to integrate safe systems of work.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of safety experience in a construction environment.


• Certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, HSE Level III, or equivalent).


• Strong knowledge of local and international safety standards.


• Excellent communication and reporting skills.


• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
