Job Summary




  • We are seeking a skilled and dependable Hotel Cook to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with hotel standards and guest preferences.

  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, committed to cleanliness and hygiene, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and room service orders) according to established recipes and menus.

  • Assist in menu planning and food presentation to maintain consistency and quality.

  • Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner to meet guest expectations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and food storage areas.

  • Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with health and safety regulations.

  • Monitor food stock and report shortages or low inventory to the chef or kitchen manager.

  • Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.

  • Minimize waste and contribute to cost control by using ingredients efficiently.

  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.



Requirements




  • Culinary School Diploma or equivalent certification (preferred).

  • Proven experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.

  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
