Job Brief

An Electrical Engineer is responsible for maintaining electrical devices and testing them for safety and efficiency. Their duties include managing the working process for new electrical equipment, using design software to solve faults, troubleshooting, and overseeing the installation process wiring diagrams, P&ID Circuit diagrams in the plant etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.


• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.


• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.


• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.


• Work closely with the production team to resolve electrical issues affecting operations.


• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and equipment performance.


• Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.


• 2-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and industrial automation.


• Familiarity with PLCs, control panels, and food processing equipment is a plus.


• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
