Job Description

• We are looking to hire an experienced and talented deposit mobilization officer and relationship officer with good deposit mobilization & customer acquisition skills, also knowledge in pay roll lending and SME lending is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients to promote, and engage the banks'products.


• Ensure satisfactory service delivery to all customers and address their inquiries promptly.


• Generate sales leads to expand the customer base.


• Adhere to standard operating procedures and business practices.


• Achieve established performance targets within the specific time frame.


• Source for new high-end customers, persuading them to deposit money.


• Maintaining existing deposit clients.


• Inform the client of the status of their deposit.


• Ensure the form for opening a fixed deposit account is adequately completed and registered.


• Work with the team to develop and implement a business development plan to improve the deposit mobilization and retention of deposit and also manage withdrawal attrition


• Contribute to the development of innovative savings products in line with customer needs


• Create and enhance new methods for rewarding depositors with interest on ordinary and fixed deposits.


• Marketing and sale of all bank’s deposit products.


• Meet assigned targets and quota in deposit mobilization and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND (or OND with 4 years experience in the microfinance industry).


• Prior experience as a deposit mobilization officer in a financial institution.


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills


• Candidate should be resident in Abuja or environs.
