Purpose

• To drive Operational Excellence within the Plant/Mills by ensuring equipment/machines are optimally utilized while improving Quality, Safety and the bottom line.

The Job

• Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma tools.


• Collect and Analyse performance metrics data.


• Lead Root Cause Analysis within Plant/Mill.


• Transfer OpEx competencies to Mill leadership and team members.


• Ensure Process Improvement activities are sustained, and standards are adhered.


• Drive Daily Operational Reviews with the support of the Mill leadership team.


• Facilitate Weekly Technical Performance Review for East & West Mills.


• Facilitate Weekly Technical Performance Review for Head house.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Science related course or Engineering.

Experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

The Person Must:

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Have solid knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
