The Bar Tender at Eric Kayser is responsible for preparing and serving beverages—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—with consistency, speed, and style.
This role requires someone who is highly skilled in drink preparation (including coffees and cocktails), understands customer preferences, and can manage an entire bar shift independently with little or no supervision.
The ideal candidate must embody the brand’s hospitality spirit and ensure every guest enjoys a premium experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, mocktails, cocktails, smoothies, and other beverages according to Eric Kayser standards.
Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness at all times.
Restock bar inventory, monitor supplies, and report shortages proactively.
Provide excellent customer service, engaging guests in a warm and professional manner.
Ensure all drinks are presented with the right garnishes, glassware, and attention to detail.
Handle POS transactions accurately and reconcile sales at end of shift.
Work collaboratively with the floor team and kitchen for smooth service flow.
Enforce responsible alcohol service practices.
Open and close the bar area efficiently, ensuring everything is in place for the next shift.
Adapt easily to shift changes or temporary movement between branches (Ikoyi or VI).
Requirements & Skills
Qualification: NCE
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Bar Tender in a fast-paced or high-end hospitality setting.
Proven skill in both coffee brewing (espresso, cappuccino, etc.) and drink mixology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining grace and precision.
Self-driven and able to work without close supervision.
Familiarity with hygiene, bar safety, and cleanliness standards.
Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, or public holidays.
