About the Role

• Brand & Business News, Nigeria’s leading online TV platform dedicated to the marketing and business communications industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced News Reporter to join our growing editorial team.


• This role is ideal for a confident, camera-friendly communicator with a passion for storytelling, business trends, and corporate brand reporting.


• You will be responsible for sourcing, investigating, and reporting on industry-related news, events, and interviews for our weekly TV segments.

Responsibilities

• Research, pitch, and report compelling stories relevant to marketing, branding, and the Nigerian business landscape.


• Cover live and recorded events, product launch events, and press briefings.


• Conduct on-camera interviews with brand leaders, marketers, and stakeholders.


• Work closely with producers, editors, and camera crew to ensure high-quality content.


• Generate feature content across TV, online, and social platforms.


• Ensure factual accuracy, journalistic integrity, and timeliness in all reporting.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Degree in Mass Communication, English, Broadcast Journalism, or a related field.


• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a TV reporter, journalist, or broadcast correspondent.


• Strong on-camera presence and ability to deliver scripts with confidence and clarity.


• Good understanding of Nigeria’s business environment and marketing communications industry.


• Excellent writing, research, and interviewing skills.


• Must reside around Abulegba, Alagbado, Lagos or nearby environs.


• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced news environment.
