Job Description

• Teach undergraduate courses, prepare lecture materials, assess students, supervise research, and engage in scholarly and departmental activities.

Requirements

Academic Qualification:

• The candidate must possess a Masters degree in Home Economics Education. However, Masters degree in Home Economics plus a postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or its equivalent is acceptable.

Teaching Experience:

• The candidate must have taught Home Economics courses at the tertiary education level for at least 5 years.

Publications:

• The candidate must have at least 3 publications (two in learned journals).

Remuneration

• Salary: COMPCASS/CET-5.


• Conditions of Service: All appointments are as applicable in the College Conditions and Schemes of Service and the Abia State Public Service.
