HRLeverage Africa is currently recruiting a highly organized and result-oriented professional to oversee the daily operations of a growing fashion retail business with multiple outlets in Abuja.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all business units, including sales, production, logistics, customer service, inventory, and overall workflow optimization across locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership across retail outlets, production, and back-office teams.
Supervise and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all departments: sales, logistics, inventory, and tailors.
Establish and maintain operational systems and SOPs that support retail efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Oversee quality control across tailoring/production and ensure timely delivery of custom and ready-to-wear items.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics/inventory officer to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Work closely with customer-facing staff to resolve complaints, improve service delivery, and enhance customer experience.
Coordinate with the social media/online sales team to align physical store operations with digital sales and marketing efforts.
Manage schedules, set KPIs for departmental staff, and conduct periodic performance reviews.
Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms on purchases when necessary.
Track business metrics and generate regular operational reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and labor regulations.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for store and production staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in operations management, preferably in fashion retail or consumer goods.
Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
Strong knowledge of inventory, production, and logistics systems.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with retail performance metrics and financial reporting.
