Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Shopper/Customer Insights: Conduct research to understand shopper behavior, preferences, and needs to drive revenue growth
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute annual shopper marketing plans to drive sales, increase customer engagement, and enhance brand visibility.
- Retail Partnerships: Collaborate with retail partners to develop and execute joint marketing initiatives, promotions, and in-store activations both for open market, MT/GO stores and E-Commerce Customers.
- In-Store Experience: Design and implement in-store experiences, including point-of-sale displays, promotions, Gondola alignment and branding.
- Digital Integration: Integrate digital elements into shopper marketing strategies to enhance the shopping experience.
- Measurement and Evaluation: Track and analyze sales data, shopper behavior, and marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of shopper marketing initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets and resources to achieve shopper marketing objectives and “Win at the Shelf”
- Revenue Growth Strategy: Develop and execute revenue growth strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop and manage demand forecasts alongside demand planning team to ensure accurate revenue projections.
- Ownership of commercial planning meetings(Step 2)
- Performance Management: Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to drive revenue growth.
Measurement / Performance Indicators
Revenue Growth:
- Sales Revenue: Increase in sales revenue attributed to shopper marketing initiatives
- Revenue Growth Rate: Year-over-year revenue growth rate.
Shopper Marketing Effectiveness:
- Shopper Engagement: Increase in shopper engagement metrics (e.g., foot traffic, dwell time, interactions)
- Return on Investment (ROMI): Return on investment for shopper marketing initiatives
- Shopper Insights: Quality and depth of shopper insights gathered through research and analytics.
Operational Efficiency:
- Project Timeliness: Timeliness and efficiency of project execution
- Budget Management: Effective management of budgets and resources.
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:
Qualifications:
- First Degree in any discipline
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experiences (What experience brings success to this role):
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years commercial experience in marketing or sales
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation, including sales data, market research, and shopper insights.
- Full understanding of sales drivers
- Experience with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, to drive sales result.
Knowledge (What does the person need to know):
- Good knowledge of business objectives and priorities.
- Knowledge of Shopper, channel and category trends
