Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Sales Strategy: Create and lead a group-wide sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth goals.

  • Client-Focused Structure: Restructure sales teams around key client segments – Retail, Mass Affluent, HNIs/UHNIs, and Institutional.

  • Drive Revenue: Work with MDs and segment heads to boost sales and meet revenue targets.

  • Build Strong Sales Teams: Hire, train, and support a high-performing salesforce with the right skills and mindset.

  • Use of Technology: Promote CRM systems, digital tools, and data to improve sales performance.

  • Set Targets and Track Performance: Define KPIs and regularly review progress to ensure goals are met.

  • Enhance Client Experience: Work with teams to deliver smooth and valuable experiences across all client touchpoints.

  • Encourage Cross-Selling: Promote collaboration across subsidiaries to increase client value and product usage.

  • Lead Cultural Change: Drive a client-first, performance-driven mindset across the organization.

  • Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed on industry changes and use insights to adapt strategy and support innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 20+ years of senior leadership experience in sales and business development roles.

  • Strong preference for experience in asset management or broader financial services, but must also demonstrate success managing group-level sales across diverse clients segments.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-business sales organizations.

  • Demonstrated success in building integrated sales strategies, cross-functional leadership, and delivering significant revenue growth.

  • Experience leading large-scale sales transformations or turnaround programs in complex, multi-entity financial services organizations is highly desirable.

  • Experience working with matrixed teams and influencing without direct authority.
