Role Summary:
The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to management by aligning HR strategies with business goals. He/She is responsible for workforce planning, employee relations, compliance with labour laws, and improving productivity in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with management to design and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development for both office and site staff.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, health and safety regulations.
- Support performance management and succession planning.
- Develop training programs to build workforce capacity.
- Provide HR insights through data and analytics to guide decision-making.
- Drive change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2- 4 years’ experience in Core Human resource management
- Minimum qualification
- BSC/HND in Management/HRM. Professional qualifications will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Experience in a construction/ related company is an added advantage.
