Key Responsibilities:




  • Design and deliver daily lesson plans and learning activities aligned with national, local, and school science education standards.

  • Present complex scientific concepts in a simple, relatable manner to enhance student understanding.

  • Enrich classroom time with hands-on experiments and interactive demonstrations.

  • Use a variety of instructional methods such as discussions, direct teaching, and independent practice.

  • Differentiate instruction to support students with varying abilities, learning needs, and levels of interest.

  • Assess student performance using observations, performance-based tasks, and standardised assessments.

  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment that fosters respect and positive behaviour.

  • Regularly communicate with parents about student progress, potential, and behaviour.

  • Continuously enhance teaching practices by attending professional development workshops, exploring new instructional strategies, and integrating modern tools into lessons.



Qualifications & Experience:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education or a related science field.

  • Valid teaching certification in science education.

  • Prior teaching experience in primary or secondary school settings.

  • Knowledge and experience with the British Curriculum.

  • Proficient in using interactive/smart boards in the classroom.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with 21st-century teaching methodologies and digital tools.
