Job Summary
- The Head of Commercial Team is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing projects, andoverseeing the Design and Technical team to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- This role requires aseasoned professional with a strong background in interior design, architecture, or a related field, and aproven track record of success in a similar role.
Responsibilities
Revenue Generation:
- Rigorously drive sales targets for the project team, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships.
- Develop and maintain a database of new and prospective clients, regularly updating and following up through emails and calls.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience and ensure retention.
- Harness the project business environment for new exciting opportunities and projects.
- Provide weekly activity reporting for Project business, including confirmed orders, quotations, status of job orders, priority, and calling lists.
Project Management:
- Obtain and articulate clients' briefs, assisting them in identifying the solutions they require.
- Prepare all required documentation for project quotes, including bill of materials.
- Schedule and attend site meetings to monitor progress of ongoing projects, acting as the point of contact for clients on all project communication during execution.
- Ensure that production, delivery, and installation of clients' orders are executed as agreed and within stipulated timelines.
- Provide timely and formal written communication throughout the project execution period, disseminating critical information to clients and project teams.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including key project decisions, client/project requests, and revisions.
- Ensure before-and-after photos of projects are carried out, with professional photography upon completion.
Design and Technical Team Management:
- Oversee the Design and Technical team to meet clients' requirements and expectations.
- Schedule pre-installation and post-installation meetings with the installation supervisor, Interior
Designers, and technical team.
- Plan and supervise product delivery and installation, including performance of work, and obtain asigned completion certificate after a walkthrough using a detailed project checklist.
Reporting:
- Prepare reports, including sales figures, priority lists, pipeline orders, and other relevant reports to the department and for the business.
Requirements
- MSc in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role
- Proven working experience with interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions)
- Excellent FF&E knowledge and experience
- Positive team spirit and great team player
- Self-driven, proactive, autonomous, and reliable
- Excellent communication skills in English language, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
