Job Summary
- The Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate management of the organization's warehouse and store inventory.
- This includes maintaining precise records, monitoring stock levels, optimizing inventory strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- The Inventory Officer will play an important role in supporting the organization's supply chain operations and contributing to overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock counts and audits.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and plan stock replenishment.
- Oversee inventory storage and organization to ensure easy accessibility and proper handling.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Generate regular inventory reports for management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in inventory management, retail or e-commerce experience will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
