Job Summary




  • The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the real estate company, ensuring that all business functions run efficiently and effectively.

  • This role involves managing property operations, coordinating with various departments (sales, leasing, facilities, legal, and finance), improving operational systems, and supporting strategic growth.

  • The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to optimize performance and service delivery.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee daily operations of the real estate portfolio, including residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.

  • Coordinate with property managers, facility teams, leasing agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor property performance, occupancy rates, lease renewals, and maintenance activities.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, safety regulations, and company policies across all properties.

  • Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets, vendor payments, and cost controls.

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.

  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts (e.g., security, cleaning, maintenance, landscaping).

  • Support sales and leasing operations by ensuring all marketing materials, property documentation, and client engagements are professionally handled.

  • Track KPIs and prepare regular reports on operational performance for senior management.

  • Assist in due diligence and integration of new property acquisitions or developments.

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an advantage).

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate operations, property management, or a similar field.

  • Proven experience in managing teams, budgets, and operational workflows.

  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws, leasing, facilities management, and customer service principles.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, Buildium, MRI).
