The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the real estate company, ensuring that all business functions run efficiently and effectively.
This role involves managing property operations, coordinating with various departments (sales, leasing, facilities, legal, and finance), improving operational systems, and supporting strategic growth.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to optimize performance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the real estate portfolio, including residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
Coordinate with property managers, facility teams, leasing agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
Monitor property performance, occupancy rates, lease renewals, and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with local laws, safety regulations, and company policies across all properties.
Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets, vendor payments, and cost controls.
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.
Manage vendor relationships and service contracts (e.g., security, cleaning, maintenance, landscaping).
Support sales and leasing operations by ensuring all marketing materials, property documentation, and client engagements are professionally handled.
Track KPIs and prepare regular reports on operational performance for senior management.
Assist in due diligence and integration of new property acquisitions or developments.
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
5+ years of relevant experience in real estate operations, property management, or a similar field.
Proven experience in managing teams, budgets, and operational workflows.
Strong knowledge of real estate laws, leasing, facilities management, and customer service principles.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, Buildium, MRI).
