Responsibilities
- Acquire and manage survey data from the Geomatics Team.
- Provide accurate positions and elevations of all site areas to support work planning and execution.
- Prepare and maintain survey documentation at all project stages (pre-execution, execution, and post-execution).
- Establish and mark routes for pipeline construction and prepare corresponding as-built documentation.
- Review historical survey records and evidence to validate data accuracy and precision.
- Coordinate, supervise, and provide technical guidance to Junior Surveyors.
- Operate and maintain survey equipment and tools( (GPS, Total Stations, UAVs/drones, LiDAR, GIS systems) to enhance precise land measurements accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure survey activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Perform control point establishment and monitoring for civil, structural, and mechanical works.
- Provide survey input for pile driving, foundation setting out, structural alignment, and equipment positioning.
- Support construction teams by setting out alignments, elevations, and dimensions for site works, pipelines, and facilities.
- Deliver as-built surveys and documentation for handover to clients and project close-out.
- Maintain accurate survey records, drawings, and digital data for future reference and audits.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in oil and gas projects is a must.
- Candidates should have 10 years of experience in the EPCI industry.
- Experience in developing and managing work packages.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
