We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer with 1–2 years of experience to support our Human Resources Department in daily operations.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR processes, compliance with policies, and providing support across recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing new hire documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records (hard copy and digital) in line with company policies and data protection laws.
Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, overtime, leave, etc.).
Assist in the administration of employee benefits, leave management, and performance appraisals.
Help implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal regulations.
Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Provide support in training coordination, staff welfare programs, and engagement initiatives.
Assist in compiling HR metrics and preparing HR-related reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1 – 2 years of HR experience in a corporate environment is required.
Good understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HR software knowledge is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
