Responsibilities




  • Convey employees to their approved destinations

  • Ensure the vehicle log is properly completed.

  • Assist in procurement and other errands.

  • Maintain records, such as diesel purchase, etc,

  • Maintain vehicles in good and neat working condition.

  • Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires with the approval of the workshop

  • manager and under strict supervision/guidance by a qualified mechanic.

  • Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other

  • vehicles.

  • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles

  • Undertakes rescue operations

  • Ability to navigate roads and understand road signs

  • Leverage the journey management plan to arrive at destinations promptly

  • Clean and ensure their vehicles are in good condition

  • Notify the admin manager of the maintenance due date for the pool vehicle and ensure

  • prompt maintenance

  • Notify the admin manager of the expiry of vehicle’s documents and follow up to ensure

  • prompt renewal

  • Manage and maintain all vehicle accessories to meet the stipulated usage durations. Any other responsibilities as assigned.



Requirements




  • OND / HND / B.Sc. in any discipline.

  • 2–3 years’ experience in fleet monitoring or a similar role.

  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of road networks in the South-South region.
