Position Summary




  • The Project Coordinator will play a key role in managing and executing the comic book project. This part-time role involves coordinating the creative and production processes, engaging stakeholders, supporting distribution, and ensuring project activities are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact. The role requires excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and a passion for youth health education.



Key Responsibilities



Project Management & Coordination




  • Oversee day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of the comic book project.

  • Manage timelines for storyboarding, illustration, production, and distribution.

  • Liaise with illustrators, writers, reviewers (oncologists, nurses, teenagers), and other stakeholders to ensure quality and relevance of content.

  • Track progress of deliverables and ensure milestones are met within budget.



Stakeholder & Community Engagement




  • Coordinate stakeholder feedback sessions with health professionals and youth representatives.

  • Foster partnerships with schools, faith-based groups, youth organizations and other relevant groups for distribution.

  • Engage community champions, volunteers, and teachers in promoting the project.



Communications & Outreach




  • Support the launch campaign through social media, newsletters, and events.

  • Coordinate marketing activities to promote both e-copies and printed copies.

  • Assist in managing relationships with bookstores, donors, and distribution partners.



Monitoring & Evaluation




  • Support data collection through pre- and post-project surveys, quizzes, and feedback forms.

  • Track distribution metrics, digital engagement, and stakeholder feedback.

  • Contribute to progress reports, donor updates, and final impact assessments.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Sciences, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in project coordination, preferably in health, education, or nonprofit programs.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Familiarity with youth engagement, health education, or creative/media projects is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with project management tools is desirable.
