About the job role
The Service Advisor is a professional consultant who serves as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians. Assess the service needs of vehicles and provide customers with accurate cost and time estimates for repairs. Participating in training programs to stay current with industry developments and new technologies. Developing and sharing of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report to the workshop management. Collaborating with technicians to diagnose problems and ensuring timely and quality completion of repairs. Interacting with customers and conducting customer service activities. Communicating with spare part departments to ensure the necessary parts are available. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership products, services, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and conduct customer service activities including however not limited to; greet walk-ins, answer calls/messages, ask the right questions to get clear vehicle fault descriptions and log customer complaints. Explain faults and repairs in simple, non-technical terms. Provide accurate quotes, get customer approval, and keep them updated on progress, issue invoices and receipts accurately.
- Service Advisor will recommend preventive maintenance services, promote company products and services, advise customers on repair options and costs, and ensure all repairs are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with technician to diagnose problems and liaise with the Workshop Manager to prioritize jobs and ensuring timely and quality completion of repairs. Collaborate with other departments, such as parts to follow up on orders and customer service team, to resolve any engineering issues.
- Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to customers.
- Keep detailed records of reports.
- Ensure final quality assurance check before delivery and confirm all listed jobs were completed.

Skills & Qualification
- HND or BSc holder in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in a similar automotive or technical role.
- Technical knowledge of vehicles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, integrity and honesty in all dealings.
