Job Description







  • We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role will focus on automation, infrastructure as code, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), container orchestration, and cloud-native solutions.



Key Responsibilities




  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery and deployment.

  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and related tools.

  • Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.

  • Automate provisioning and configuration management across virtual machines (VMs/VMSets) and containerized environments.

  • Manage and optimize logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration of new features into production.

  • Support application runtime environments across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.

  • Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure.

  • Manage repositories, artifacts, and version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.).

  • Troubleshoot system issues and implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.



RequirementsTechnical Skills




  • Proven hands-on experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI).

  • Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerization using Docker.

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and VMware/VM Sets.

  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

  • Monitoring and observability experience with Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.

  • Good knowledge of networking, load balancing, firewalls, and security practices in cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

  • Knowledge of databases and caching systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.) is a plus.



Soft Skills




  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, IT Security, and Product).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to document processes and maintain technical documentation.

  • Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

  • Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Terraform Associate, etc.) are a plus.
