To identify, acquire, and manage strategic partnerships that drive the growth ofValue-Added Services (VAS). The role focuses on expanding the VAS portfolio, increasingrevenue streams, and building long-term alliances with MNOs, content providers, andtechnology enablers.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities in the VAS domain including mobile content, IVRservices, SMS/USSD-based solutions, OTT bundling, and subscription models.
Develop and maintain relationships with MNOs, content creators, app developers, andservice delivery platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams (product, technology, marketing) for seamlessonboarding and execution of new services.
Negotiate commercial agreements, including revenue-sharing models and SLAs withpartners.
Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior to identify newopportunities for VAS deployment.
Work with the product team to co-create and localize VAS offerings that resonate withtarget customer segments.
Monitor service performance and revenue generation to ensure business targets are met.Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecom, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in telecom, digital content, or VAS industry, with at least 3 yearsin business development or partnerships.
Strong understanding of VAS technologies (IVR, SMS, USSD, WAP, OTT, DCB) and monetization strategies
.Proven track record in closing deals, managing partner relationships, and achieving revenue targets
.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills:
Proven Experience working with regional content and services.
Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems and telco integrations.
