Purpose of Role




  • The Junior HR Officer will play a vital role in supporting the company’s human resources functions, ensuring effective employee relations, compliance with HR policies, and smooth daily operations.

  • This role is essential in managing recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, assisting with performance management, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives, ultimately fostering a positive and productive workplace.



Key Responsibilities




  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process, including drafting job descriptions, shortlisting, and conducting initial screenings.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labour laws and regulations.

  • Provide support in performance management, appraisals, and training coordination.

  • Handle employee queries with professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Assist in payroll preparation and ensure timely submission of employee-related data.

  • Support staff welfare initiatives, employee engagement programmes, and workplace culture development.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace standards.

  • Contribute to HR reporting, metrics, and continuous process improvements.



The Ideal Candidate:




  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, labour regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace and HR information systems.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.



Qualifications




  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant HR experience.

  • Must be an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).

  • Masters Degree is an added advantage.

  • Gender neutral, but must not be above 30 years old.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
