About the Role



We are looking for a proactive IT Business Management, Planning & Performance Support Officer for a Tier 1 Oil & Gas servicing Company in Nigeria to provide strategic and operational support in the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of IT initiatives. This role will focus on aligning IT activities with business objectives, ensuring efficient resource utilization, performance tracking, and continuous improvement across IT services and projects.



Key Responsibilities




  1. Support IT business management processes, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  2. Develop and maintain IT performance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs.

  3. Track IT projects and service performance against business objectives.

  4. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.

  5. Monitor compliance with IT governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.

  6. Collaborate with IT and business units to identify efficiency opportunities and process improvements.

  7. Support vendor and contract management activities, including performance evaluation.

  8. Coordinate IT planning cycles, including annual planning, quarterly reviews, and ad hoc reporting.

  9. Provide analysis and insights to inform IT decision-making and investment planning.

  10. Document IT processes, policies, and performance frameworks.



Requirements




  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

  2. 3–5 years’ experience in IT business management, planning, or performance support.

  3. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

  4. Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) is an advantage.

  5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  6. Ability to translate technical information into business insights.

  7. Experience in vendor/contract management is a plus.

  8. Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Business Analysis (CBAP) are an advantage.
