Job Summary:
The Quantity Surveyor (QS) will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial and contractual management of construction projects. The QS ensures that projects are completed within budget, that costs are monitored and controlled, and that value is maximized for the organization while maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BoQ), and budgets.
- Support tendering and procurement processes.
- Monitor project costs and prepare basic financial reports.
- Help track project progress on site and support senior QS with valuations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure projects stay within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in construction/real estate projects.
- Familiarity with QS software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, Excel).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Professional certification (MRICS, CIOB) is a plus.

- Accuracy of cost estimates and budgets.
- Timeliness of cost reporting and financial documentation.
- Successful management of contracts and reduction of cost overruns.
