Job Summary
- We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Officer to join our team in Ibese, Ogun State. This role requires a strong grasp of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding
- Maintain employee records, HRIS, and ensure documentation compliance
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate records of attendance and leave
- Handle employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts professionally
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and training schedules
- Monitor HR policies and ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws
- Assist in the implementation of HR strategies aligned with company goals
- Maintain disciplinary procedures and support disciplinary hearings where necessary
- Prepare HR reports for management decision-making
- Support health, safety, and welfare initiatives across the workforce
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field
- 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or milling industry
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian labor law and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR software/HRIS systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Membership of a professional HR body (e.g. CIPM) is an added advantage
Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 / Month (Net).
