Role Overview

• We’re looking for a Business Developer in Lagos to focus on acquiring and supporting Chinese merchants in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire and onboard new merchants, with a focus on the Chinese business community.


• Promote and drive usage of OPay’s digital products.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese merchants in Lagos.


• Identify opportunities for growth and provide market feedback.


• Support promotional strategies and ensure excellent merchant engagement.

Requirements

• HND / BSc in Business, Marketing, or related field.


• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Development, Merchant Acquiring, or Direct Sales (preferably financial services).


• Proven record of driving adoption of financial products.


• Strong communication, marketing, and negotiation skills.


• Fluency in Mandarin and English is mandatory.
