Job Description
The business development officer is responsible for identifying, developing, expanding the reach of the company's presence and products to key industries and closing new business opportunities for flowitec. S/he will build, open accounts and maintain relationships with viable clients across industries and will develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the compnay's overall strategic goals and objectives.
- Ensure the company is registered as a vendor in the client's data base for enquiry generation.
- Expand the reach of the company's presence and products to clients across various viable industries.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the Company's expertise and value proposition.
- Collaborate with sales engineers and other departments to develop technically sound and competitive proposals, negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure new business.
Qualifications:
- Degree is Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in similar or related field.
- Strong understanding of technical products among others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and interpret RFQs, technical enquiries and requests.
