The Ticketing Reservation Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of travel bookings, including flight and hotel reservations, ticket issuance, tour packaging customer relationship management and business development.
This role ensures that all travel arrangements are efficiently handled in line with company policies and industry regulations, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Book and issue flight tickets using GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
Handle changes, cancellations, and refunds with accuracy and efficiency.
Provide expert travel and tour advice and package on routes, fares, and travel requirements.
Liaise with airlines, visa agents, and other travel vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain accurate travel records, prepare itineraries, and generate reports as needed.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service and proactive support.
Process visa applications and tour packages with strong knowledge of multi-country visa procedures.
Design and deliver memorable travel experiences tailored to client needs.
Build and manage strong client relationships to drive customer loyalty.
Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in reservations, ticketing and business development.
Minimum of OND qualification.
Proficiency in GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, etc.).
Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills and business development.
