Job Summary

• We're hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Awka, Anambra State, to effectively schedule, oversee and manage machine maintenance, and ensure the smooth operation of production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee maintenance activities for all machinery and equipment on the shop floor.


• Ensure that all machinery is operating efficiently and safely, conducting regular inspections and diagnostics.


• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machines and molds to minimize unexpected breakdowns and downtimes.


• Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate repairs for machine issues.


• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts used.


• Work closely with production teams to ensure molds and machines meet production demands and quality standards.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.


• Monitor and manage the inventory of spare parts and materials needed for machine maintenance.


• Prepare and submit regular reports on machine breakdown, performance, maintenance schedules, maintenance processes, and any issues encountered.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor, or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong knowledge of machine maintenance, and repair techniques.


• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Effective communication and leadership abilities.


• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.


• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
