Job Summary




  • We are seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead our ice cream production and retail business.

  • The ideal candidate will have end-to-end ownership of operations, financial performance, team leadership, and market growth.

  • This role requires a commercially minded leader capable of scaling production, optimizing retail performance, and driving profitability while ensuring quality and compliance.



Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Development:




  • Define and implement business strategies to drive growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including B2B sales, distribution partnerships, and retail expansion.

  • Set performance targets and lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.



Operations Management:




  • Oversee daily operations across production, supply chain, logistics, and retail units.

  • Ensure consistent product quality, equipment reliability, and compliance with food safety and health regulations.

  • Introduce best practices in manufacturing and inventory management to reduce waste and optimize output.



Financial Oversight:




  • Take full responsibility for cost optimization.

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, making data-driven decisions to improve margins and revenue.

  • Prepare regular financial and operational reports for the board and stakeholders.



People & Team Leadership:




  • Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams across production, sales, and operations.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, customer focus, and continuous improvement.



Customer & Stakeholder Relations:




  • Ensure high customer satisfaction across all retail and distribution channels.

  • Handle key client relationships and support business development initiatives.

  • Resolve escalated issues in a professional, brand-affirming manner.



Requirements




  • 7 - 10 years of senior management experience, preferably in food manufacturing, FMCG, or retail.

  • Strong track record in operational efficiency, financial management, and team leadership.

  • Deep understanding of supply chain, production processes, and regulatory standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a practical, execution-driven approach.
