Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Scientist, located in Awka.


• The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform routine and complex lab tests in various medical technology areas, ensure the accuracy and precision of test results, and maintain laboratory equipment and records. Additional responsibilities include following quality control procedures, preparing samples, and analyzing and reporting test results.


• Collaboration with healthcare professionals to interpret lab results and contribute to patient care is also an essential part of the job.

Qualifications

• Skills in Medical Laboratory Diagnostic Test (Hematology, microbiology, chemistry and immunology)


• Experience in Quality Control procedures


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science as well as license to practice


• Over 2 years working experience is an added advantage
