Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and bake pastries, breads and other baked goods.
Develop new recipes and innovative products while ensuring consistency of taste and presentation.
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Monitor stock levels and order ingredients and supplies as needed.
Maintain clean and organized kitchen/workstations at all times.
Train, guide, and supervise junior pastry staff or assistants when necessary
Control food costs by minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role.
Professional training in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or Baking
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Creative flair with an eye for detail and presentation.
